About the Practice
Our law practice is limited to the following areas:
- Bankruptcy - debt reduction and/or relief
- Probate Administration - asset distribution, gift tax
- Estate Planning - disposition of property, wills, trusts, financial and tax planning, business interests, insurance needs, medical decisions, incapacity
- Mortgage Foreclosures - secured property, real estate litigation, court judgement
William C. Shaw, Attorney at Law
William C. Shaw has practiced law in Florida since 1977, and in Port St. John / Cocoa since 1990.
Prior to his legal education, Mr.Shaw served six years as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Marine Corps, and was later employed as a financial analyst with Cook Electric, a Department of Defense Research and Development Company, in Chicago.
From 1977 until 1990, Mr. Shaw lived and worked in the Fort Lauderdale area. While in Broward County, Mr. Shaw served briefly as an Assistant State's Attorney, was a Coast Guard licensed motorboat operator, and learned to fly small airplanes. In addition to his law practice, Mr. Shaw became a state-certified contractor, and was involved in the operation of a major commercial construction company, with total administrative supervision of projects as far south as Key West, and north to the Philadelphia area.
Since moving to Brevard County, Mr. Shaw has limited his practice to the areas listed above, in State and Federal Courts, in Brevard and Orange Counties.
